Andros

Andros is one of the closest islands to Athens, just 2 hours from the port of Rafina. Access is easy as there are frequent daily services.
Andros is the northernmost and second largest island of the Cyclades. It has an area of ??374 square kilometers with a length of 41 km, width 16 km and 177 km coastline with more than 35 beaches accessible by road and countless more accessible by sea.
The beaches are broken in both the northern and the southern part of the island, offering choices to visitors regardless of the weather prevailing.
Andros is the only island green that combines the Cycladic sea. The rare natural environment, unique Cycladic island, characterized by a multitude of gray-green slopes, picturesque hills, steep wooded valleys and lush green valleys, rugged gorges, where they roll abundant fresh water.

Several and important are the monasteries of Andros, as the Life-Giving Spring, Panachrantou Monastery of Agia Marina and Agios Nikolaos, which dated from the Byzantine period.
