Hiking trails in Andros are a destination. Andros is one of the Greek islands with the largest network of trails. Most of them are even paved. Batsi is one of the most beautiful areas of Andros. In fact, near it you will find two beautiful hiking trails which will offer you a magical and unforgettable experience. One of these paths is the path that includes the route Batsi – Katakoilos – Ano Katakoilos – Arni. A wonderful route from the coastline to the hinterland with impressive landscape changes. This route is passable with some steep points and starts from a vertical cement road on the road Gavrio to Batsi.

The second and also popular path near Batsi is the path around the archaeological site of Paleopolis. A circular route that you should not miss with anything as it will give you the opportunity to see various surviving relics, enchanting landscapes with unique views as well as the sunken ancient jetty on the beach of Paleopolis. The access to the specific path of Andros is made through the road from Gavrio to Paleopolis, opposite the Archaeological Museum.
